My name is Susan Huebert, and I'm a writer and editor from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I've always enjoyed words, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Winnipeg in 1995. I received a degree in librarianship in 2001 and have worked in public libraries, consulting, and related areas. In recent years, I've been working mainly in writing, editing, and research. My work has included travel articles, book reviews, current events articles, and other writing.

The inspiration for my writing has come from many sources. I lived in Egypt for four years and enjoyed experiencing a new culture and seeing interesting places. I've travelled extensively and have lived in several different places in Canada, including Inuvik, Vancouver, and Edmonton. I'm currently working on a series of articles recording my Egyptian experiences, and I hope to use many of my other travels in my writing.
